The new Ford Mustang Mach 1 is the best-handling Mustang ever to reach Europe, featuring Ford Performance enhancements for track capability and on-road driving pleasure. Mustang Mach 1’s 5.0-litre V8 engine is specially calibrated to deliver 460 PS at the 7,500 rpm redline, while choice of transmissions includes a TREMEC six-speed manual transmission offered for the first time on a European Mustang, or Ford’s 10-speed automatic transmission with an uprated oil cooler and unique software for optimised road and track performance.
Mustang Mach 1’s MagneRide® dampers have a unique calibration to match the stiffer springs, anti-roll bars and new toe-link components, while the EPAS system has new software to provide maximum control and precision whatever the conditions.
- Aerodynamic enhancements provide neutral balance front to rear and increase downforce, as well as improving airflow underneath the car for increased cooling for the brakes and transmission.
- The exterior features a choice of eight body colour and stripe combinations alongside gloss black detailing, while inside the Mach 1 offers unique details including a build number badge and sill plates, paying homage to the iconic Mustang Mach 1 models of the past.
